Building your PDR brand is much easier than you may think. As long as you are consistent in your message, look and tone, success will follow. So the trick is, when you are considering these things you will need to first do some research into what your customers are looking for. This is simple to do, you take a look at what others in your industry are doing and the amount of success they are having with their brand.
Your brand should first represent who you are and what you want to say. First you should concentrate on your tagline or slogan. Your tagline is a short, memorable quip. As an example; using your PDR business you may say something like “We can make your car look as good as you do” or you could make a rhyme. As long as what you use is catchy and memorable.
Next you need a logo that visually represents what you do. People will always remember things visually so make sure your logo depicts what you do in a memorable way.
Concentrate your website on having visual stimulation. Meaning, make videos of the work you do but make them in a memorable way. You could do black and white, you could make sure that with each video your logo is in the shot and if they are pictures then make sure it is in each picture. The point is to keep the logo front and center with your visiting customers.
Finally, your tone. The overall tone of your business should be in sync with your message. If for example your website has bubbles and is in soft pink, well your audience should be little girls princess parties. Obviously this isn’t the message, but hopefully you get my point. Your site should be in strong, bold colors, by bold I don’t mean neon. I’m talking professional Dark Blues with yellows and oranges, something racy and sporty.
